Located in Bellac (87), 400 km from Paris between Limoges and Poitiers, Chaineries Limousines manufacture chains in round steel wire welded since 1923.

We are one of the first European chain manufacturer and the main French manufacturer with a 7000 m² factory and an output of more than 6000 tons a year.

Our chains go from diameter 2 to 20 mm. They are made of mild steel, high quality steel or stainless steel.

 

The use of the chain varies depending on the steel.
Commercial chain made of mild steel and without a heat treatment do not require any safety regulations.

High resistance chain made of high quality steel with heat treatments are subjected to multiple safety controls and regulations.

Examples: slings, hoists, industrial fishing, stowing, agricultural transmission…

 
Stainless steel chain made in 304L and 316L are for corrosive environments and the food industry.
